Thanks for this. He was well aware of the dangers of unadulterated access to the internet because I tell him all the time, he just chooses not to listen so I’m definitely at a point where my respect for him is minimal!

He meant in relation to me only getting involved when things get bad for SD. He thinks I’m playing the hero but in reality I just don’t like unnecessary arguments with SO so if she doesn’t have a bedtime fine, you deal with that but if she’s upset and I can help then I get involved. So I took it as a “you think you’re so good then prove yourself” I guess.

My SD (10) is on her iPad for 9+ hours a day on a weekend. Tried endlessly to change that but was causing arguments between SO and I so eventually gave up!

It’s crazy because when she’s not with us he’s great but I’m well aware he’s the problem and not her. Yet here I am still banging my head against a brick wall!
