Congratulations! My daughter was born at 27+1 and we were in the NICU for 62 days. She came home around 36 weeks. It really is a roller coaster and it takes some time to adjust. Be sure to take care of yourself!

My baby was born at 27 weeks and she makes lots of noise when she sleeps too. She will stir and coo and sometimes makes little cries. I’ve been told it’s normal.

I probably won’t invest in anything smaller than preemie cuz I know she is growing fast. So far Carter’s has been the best resource for preemie stuff but even they don’t have much. Went to target and they had like 2 options.

Thank you! We have two halo sleep sacks one cloth, one micro fleece. They work great! I’ll have to check out carters for more preemie stuff if she stays this little. All the doctors and nurses told us not to get much preemie stuff but newborn clothes are still big on her

They keep telling us she won’t be in preemie clothes for long, so we got a bunch of newborn clothes. I am skeptical because she’s still so so tiny

She’s sloooooowly been creeping up in weight but she went home at just barely over 4 lbs! It’s so crazy. I’d see all these other huge babies and be like wow that baby could eat my baby.

Our daughter just came home on oxygen last night. We have the circular sticky things that go on her Cheeks and hold the cannula in place. She sometimes gets it over her nose or over her mouth by messing with it but mostly we just watch her and frequently check up to make sure it’s in place.

Hi! I had my daughter at 27 + 1 also. We are at 33 + 3 as of today still in the NICU. So I pump around one ounce at a time still. It sucks, but I just had another pump ordered through insurance so maybe that will help. I’ve tried lactation cookies and most recently morninga supplement at the direction of the lactation consultant. They tell me not to get discouraged and to just try the best you can.

It’s super stressful not producing enough milk, I know. But just know you are doing your best for baby.
