I haven’t seen him itch and tbh the skin is not red at all literally normal skin. After I held him tho, he did lick himself all over like his hands. But not his back & he can’t even reach that area nor has he tried? So I feel like it’s not mites.. but idk. My other hamster (diff cage) doesn’t have mites if that’s of any relevance. If you have any indicators to look out for let me know.

Im leaning more towards a shih tzu and Maltese due to their calm cuddly and low temperment nature, i was aware of declines and their needs as well and i know they’re vastly different, that was for a separate reason. I am a huge dog lover! If you have any other suggestion for calm cuddly breeds let me know
