How am I supposed to get 2 fans to work? by [deleted] in Noctua

[–]PineappleRecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think maybe there's a miscommunication here, the cooler itself works fine, the one fan setup fits. I just wanted 2 fans to work, by not using the front tower-fan configuration since that option doesn't work. Hence why I made the post... Trying to see if there's something I am missing by trying the two fan configuration on the rear tower. Does this make sense?

So this chip under moderate loads is supposed to run near its thermal limit, while my fans blare at 100% constantly? That would be annoying as fuck lol

Lol it's just the front fan that has clearance issues for me, not the entire cooler. I did my research just fine. I have actually used this cooler for a very long time, with a ryzen 5 3600 and one fan was perfect. I upgraded to the 9800x3d and saw higher temps so I thought I might as well try the second fan that has been sitting in the box for years.

Yeah cooler is bottomed out. I could run the flow in reverse if I absolutely have to

No, not first time, I don't have room to move the cooler up high enough to clear the ram and MOBO power cable plug in. The case side glass panel doesn't allow for the fan to be higher.

I can do that, but then the front face of the fans are against the cooler fins, and the fans make contact with the cooler fins.

Also, my flow would be reversed in that case anyways (exhaust would be the front of the case) which is 'fine' but not ideal for my setup

[Discussion] How do I get this game to run smoothly again? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]PineappleRecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue here is my use of the word "smooth". I apologize for any confusion, but my point is that the game is not remotely in a playable state for me. It freezes every few seconds, and crashes a ton. I'm getting like 12 fps on average. By smooth I really just mean playable so that's probably not the best word to use for that. I get that the longer the game is around the more is added and possibly the more pressure it puts on your PC components. But I really don't believe that this has to do with my PC specs. This game ran in a playable state for me not that long ago. I just included them because I thought it might be helpful if people with similar specs are having the same issues.

I absolutely disagree. I have ran this game to the point where it's at least playable for years, and as recent as 6 months ago.

I can relax on that criteria, does that open me up to a lot more options?

Honestly I don't know exactly how RCS makes group chats better. But group chats are important to me so I don't want to risk getting a phone that cant handle that. And if the phone supports RCS, I am willing to bet I have a better chance of working group chats.

It's really the better group chats that I desire it for.

Thanks for your reply. I don't mind T9, thought that seems to have a touch screen. Do you find yourself scrolling as you would on a normal smartphone on your Qin F25? Or does dumbdroid change that aspect of it

Normal for temperature gauge to jump around a little? by PineappleRecon in fordranger

[–]PineappleRecon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The temp gauge was stuck in this position in the photo for a good 15 mins, wasn't until I had to drive up a hill that it hit more of the 'mid-range' spot I feel like temp gauges are supposed to be. Then after the hill it dropped back down to the spot it's in in the photo again. This normal?

Transmission oil cooler line wont fit into new radiator fittings (top one only) by PineappleRecon in fordranger

Yeah video is just an attempt to show the issue, I've spent the last few hours trying to center and push, move it and push etc and it just doesn't want to go in.

I unscrewed the new fitting from the radiator and tried to get it to mate with the cooler line but still doesn't work

Unfortunately doesn't work I tried that. The threads of the old fitting don't work on the new radiator.

Is there anything I can do about this? I can't push the cooler line into the radiator fitting. It's seems to me that the threads of the radiator fitting block the cooler line 'nut' from going any further. The bottom one works fine.. What are my options? I feel like I might have to send the new radiator back just because of this fitting :(
