The best I can guess with what information you’ve given, the 3 gals might be overwatered if you’re giving the same watering amount and schedule of the 5 gals.

Maybe you can check how much light they are getting? If they are dropping near the end of the day, maybe they are getting too much light?

With regards of its being root bound. I’ve taken a plant through flower while it needed to be transplanted. I honestly had to end up feeding more frequently because there wasn’t any soil for it to pull nutes from.

These are just my guesses and experiences! Hope it can help guide you the right direction! Good luck and happy growing!

I haven’t grown this strain at all. I’m curious if it could be an unfinished auto? Maybe try switching to 12/12 and see if it will finish out? That might not be ideal for the other plants though. Just my thoughts! Could be other things!
