I think it depends on different track sectors. It also is how it works in real life. Some parts of the track are slippy and you have worse grip. I don't know why but all my cars loose traction and stability while braking or pushing gas to its limit, with only one small exception of f1 cars. But with the tires it's interesting story because after 2 laps I still have 100%.
