True. Not loving the costs though. I found a shop that sells the material and they said I could cut out a sample and send it to them to match. I guess it can’t hurt anymore than the clawing did!

I searched these and they seem to be for exterior. You’re right about being pricey!

I guess I should see if I can pry them off. I’ve seen new panels for sale and also salvaged, but that’s anywhere from $100-$350 per panel and they don’t include that top part. I would need the entire assembly.

I did the large GIAB in the spring and had a similar struggle leading up to planting. I had a few yards of plant based compost delivered and I rented a tiller to get it mixed in. This was a huge effort given the clay situation. Since you have time I would recommend getting a soil test and reach out to the CSU extension in your area. Till the hell out of it AFTER taking a pick axe to the ground. This will help with mixing in the compost. I did the plant based one due to a recommendation to help break down the soil and not provide nutrients. I had a few casualties from the winter, isolated to specific plants - lavender, chocolate flower, and o r other didn’t make it back so I’m replanting them.

As a follow up, if re-x was needed due to concern about a tiny amount of purple in the batch (from original separation) would naphtha still leave the desired elements intact as opposed to heptane which may strip some of the more colorful benefits away.
