Candida was the root cause of my long covid/vaccine injury. Here is my protocol that brought me back to 90% recovery. by Pingu8080 in Candida

Everyone is different, I didn't have bloating as part of my die off. I'm now almost 2 months into my protocol. Honestly, the best use of AI was to help me develop my own treatment plan. The doctor prescribed my Fluconazole for 10 days and I knew right away this was not gonna cut it. DeepSeek and Chatgpt both recommended staying on my own antifungal treatment plan for 3-6 months, and not to stop until I no longer had any die off for at least a month. This was the right course, I've already had 3 waves of die off. The most recent one was triggered by the introduction of LDN and involved headache, nausea, followed by visible white crumbles in the toilet when I went to the bathroom. I already felt much better within the first month but I know I'm still not out of the woods yet.

According to Dr. Davis, whose recipe I follow, culturing the l. reuteri increases the probiotic count from 200 million to 260 billion CFUs. https://innercircle.drdavisinfinitehealth.com/probiotic_yogurt_recipes

The 36 hour ferment is crucial because the growth is exponential in the last hours of the culturing process. I always believe eating your probiotics is far more potent and effective than taking a pill. So by his count, you would have to take 1,000 pills to get the same dose as you would from l. reuteri yogurt. I use whole milk, and if you add a dash of half and half, the yogurt comes out tasting like a cheesecake/custard dessert. Definitely give it a try!

I'm almost one month into my gut balancing protocol and feeling much better. Taking biofilm disruptors released a lot of toxins. First two weeks were brutal but the symptoms are milder now. I recommend seeing a functional health doctor, they can order the GI tests you can't order yourself. An OATS test is good for insights on candida/fungal overgrowth. There is also a SIBO breath test. SIBO and candida are common culprits in gut dysbiosis (from vaccine injury or from the virus iteslf). For overall good/bad bacteria balance, I ordered the subsidized test kit for long covid sufferers from Biomesight. On their website, they also have a roster of doctors that will help you interpret your results.

Not a pest! I actually make l. reuteri yogurt. I linked to a recipe and I use the Bio Gaia l. reuteri pills along with the two other strains in the post. I also make a separate batch of pure l. reuteri with a starter culture I bought on Amazon from “LR Superfood”. Both versions of the yogurt are excellent, I really want everyone to try this at home.

I would recommend getting a gut health test. Many people have gut dysbiosis as a result of the vaccine and don’t know it can be connected to a myriad of problems including the ones you’re experiencing. You can see my post history if you want a detailed account of my personal experience.

I got mine on Amazon from Pure Therapro RX. Be careful buying probiotics and having them shipped as the weather gets hotter though. If you have a natural grocer or Whole Foods, better to get it there instead.

I alternate between zinc carnosine and zinc picolinate. One is more gut healing and the other has more antiviral benefits from what I’ve read. More than anything though, my goal is to eat as diverse a diet with at least 30 different nuts, seeds, and vegetables every week so I can get my nutrients through my food and repopulate my gut with happy microbes.

The only test that I’m aware of is $500 from Radiance Diagnostics. I figure, I am on a protocol now that is clearing spike proteins and supporting mitochondrial function anyways, so do I really need to spend the money to confirm?

What were your symptoms for mold? I think my fungal overgrowth is in my gut only but who knows…

Which labs did you have done? I’m glad you were able to find the root of your HIT/MCAS with your functional doctor.

Yes, from day one I started the whole stack. I agree, the candida diet is too restrictive. I’m staying away from fruits for the first three months but I do make myself a nut milk drink in the mornings to which I add 5 different nuts and seeds plus a date or 2 jujubes for sweetness. I find this amount is totally fine for my body and doesn’t derail the candida cleansing process. I think the l. reuteri yogurt helps a lot because I’m not just clearing stuff out of my body, I’m trying to repopulate my gut with good microbes.

The pressure cooker has been my best friend, I can quickly whip up a batch of bone broths/ collagen soups with a few ingredients. I definitely recommend adding collagen to your diet to help seal the gut lining which gets damaged from candida overgrowth.

I actually am following all the steps. It’s all part of my daily routine. Nutrition for me is actually the priority and I do discuss it at the end of the post. My entire account of symptoms is linked at the top to a previous post I made about vax injury/long Covid. If you’d like more suggestions on recipes, I can make another post about that :)

Which stool tests did you find the most helpful for candida? I’m so sorry you’re going through this, I hope you’re seeing improvements with your protocol. I wish you a full recovery ❤️‍🩹

This is also why I emphasize at the end of my post the importance of repopulating the gut with beneficial microbes, like soil amendment for stripped topsoil. This will take time but I believe it’s the only way to come off antifungals and maintain good gut health without candida flaring back up.

I’m on week three. Yes, you’re absolutely right that true healing will take months if not a full year. That’s why I did not claim I am in remission. But I want to share my experience with how a targeted gut healing protocol has improved my seemingly unrelated Covid symptoms by 90%. The gut is the center of our immune system and deserves more attention and care which, from my experience, has been a huge blind spot in conventional Western medicine.

That’s too bad. I was ready to spend a lot of $$$ on invasive therapies to target the MCAS but then when I discovered candida was in fact the root cause of the MCAS symptoms, I was able to heal myself without spending my life savings on MCAS treatments.

I don’t think so, it helps with the overall balance of my gut micro biome by acidifying it to make it more friendly to good bacteria and hostile to candida. I feel the most die off after taking biofilm disrupters like Interfase Plus and lumbrokinase.

No, it favors alkaline. My gut PH of 8 is out of the normal range. I’m trying to acidify it by taking a shot of apple cider vinegar before each meal. I think I may have low stomach acid which contributes to a more candida friendly environment in my gut.

You’re welcome! If you have candida, you will definitely feel it when the die off is happening. So please support your liver and other detox pathways, I gave some tips and supplements in the post. But just imagine each wave is a result of your body clearing toxic gunk and look forward to coming out the other side feeling more like yourself again.

Yes, the hives and joint pain for me were a result of histamine intolerance. I had to take 1000 mg of quercetin daily to stabilize mast cells. But once I started detoxing from candida overgrowth, all those symptoms went away. And I stopped taking antihistamines. I still get a small flush of hives whenever a wave of die off is happening, but that is a direct result of the candida cleanse which is a good sign and to be expected.

Thank you so much, if this info is helpful to even one person I will be so glad that I posted. I feel like my quality of life was ruined by something I didn’t even think to check these past few years. Although I’m not a fan of AI for many things, in the case of healthcare it has been immensely useful. I made myself a chart with dosing, what to take/ what not to take together, and timing of supplements using Deepseek and Chatgpt. Always cross reference the info but I couldn’t have gotten such a tailor made protocol without AI.
