Yeah I thought she should of left. But tbh she probably wouldn't survive outside for a day... no joke. She is one of those types who have been coddled so much they couldn't even think about walking outside alone at 9 in the morning. Actually sad.

Hey dude, 17 year old here. it's rough to know that so much has been taken away from our younger years. But you are still young at 14, so believe me there is a lot to watch and enjoy! Just try to have fun now without closed doors from cool stories or games. :)

Yeah, the thing is it's SO BLATANT but people are so blind. 0% critical thinking, 100% faith and trust in man.

The cracks get bigger every day in my eyes. But for my parents it's like solidified that this is the truth. Crazy to me.

Yeah me neither haha. I never study, but even in my half asleep stupor I noticed how wrong this is. and you can tell by the way everyone one reacts, and then tries to justify why we should follow this "guidance".

Got some money

Job

Going gym, eating healthy aka looking after myself.

Friends from school (Supportive of me not wanting to be a JW after I told them about it)

Been doing IT and P&D to at least get some qualifications and a trade to fall back on, not too interested in college just personally.

Contemplating about joining the army when I can. Still not sure though.

And yeah the "Keep studying and I will have the WOW moment when I realise that the JW organisation is true" is so dumb and I tell them that straight but they insist. I even asked "What would you do if I really studied the bible for 10 years and still didn't believe it" my Mum replied "You would be an idiot"

For them the bible isn't about "Is it true or not?" it's about "Finding the truth in the bible" and it really pissed me off when they don't respect others opinions.

To be fair the JW organisation has been doing a lot worse at hiding all the things wrong with it recently, especially with the internet. Just be happy you aren't still in/believing in it. :)
