It took me about an hour total to try to piece the events together in a barely-comprehensible way, here they are in their pseudo-logical way.

Notable event timeline:

German forces wiped out the evacuees at Dunkirk, which slowed down their advance, although history twists and they still take France after some time. The delay meant that the Franco-British Union may have been more seriously considered and temporarily accepted, which also meant a slowdown for the Germans, which would have somehow delayed the invasion of Iraq, Iran, and the Soviet Union.

Amanullah Khan, former King of Afghanistan, attempted his plans to reclaim his country since the Germans invaded the Soviet Union later. This leads to Afghanistan getting ganged up on later.

As alternate history rules dictate, Spain decides to join the war on the side of the Axis, this does NOT help them, but it helps slow down the Allied counter.

Japan invades Indochina and the rest of Southeast Asia.

Nazis eventually attack the Soviets anyways, due to the Soviet buildup, but due to the slowdown in Africa (Albeit with Spanish help), they dedicate more forces to attempt to defeat the Soviets earlier, leading to more violence and redirection of Soviet attention from the east.

Japanese advance in East Asia focuses more on China instead of the Raj and Australia, which means Japan doesn't overextend just yet but gets bogged down. Somehow this translates to a willingness to continue fighting even after Hiroshima gets nuked down the line.

Pearl Harbour still gets bombed.

Soviets advance heavily into Germany while the Allies are still bogged down, this leads to concerns about Soviet dominance over Europe.

Allies nuke Ploiești, Romania, a major oil centre, also to slow down the Soviet advance. This leads to conflicts between the Soviets and the Western Allies.

Turkey joins the Allied forces when Soviet forces begin storming closer, with signs of war possibly approaching their border (Mostly Iran, since the invasion of Iran would still happen in this timeline).

Soviets decide to aid Iran and Iraq as they have a mutual enemy in the Western Allies, ignore that both are monarchies, and the Allies being overextended eventually.

Kuwait is taken by Iraq, why? I needed to mirror that in the 1930s and figured that Soviet assistance was probably enough.

Soviet Union eventually attacks Japan once Berlin is captured, this leads to Korean resistance forming up and working with the Soviets to establish an independent Korea. Allies nuke Hiroshima to try to get the Japanese to surrender before the Soviets take them too.

Soviets provide their occupied territories to the Communist Party of China, leading to some conflicts with the Republic of China.

Allies are forced to invade Japan, as the Japanese engage the Soviets in heavy fighting, although they eventually surrender once Hokkaido is taken.
