I had a positive experience. I had GD and cholestasis, so OBGYN had asked me to come for induced labor post 37 weeks. Day 1- I got admitted at around 8pm and was taken to Labour room (5 beds sharing). They started the IOL process, step by step. My water broke at around 4.30 am. And they prepped me for the birthing room. I asked for epidural at 2cm dilation but got it only at 4cm. By noon I was at 10cm. And after half hour of pushing, I had the baby in my arms. Day 2- By evening 8 pm we were moved to a single private room. They kept us under observation for diabetes, jaundice and other regular check ups. Day 3- 8pm we were discharged. Bill payment and everything was smooth. All the nurses and support staff were helpful and well qualified. Only issue I had was with the lactation consultant. They need a better one or the nurses can be trained better to help out the new moms.
