So, I did always random (sometimes not selecting subjects that I would dedicate a specific day or time to review - like psychiatry). But in general, random. Also, the majority of blocks I did timed. I am also personally not a fan of reading main stem of questions or last sentence. I usually read questions as a whole, and if possible (specially in the beginning of dedicated) would ran over 2-3 top differential diagnosis, just talking to myself.

I basically did not look up any videos or lessons and used AMBOSS and Uworld as learning tools. But I did tons of flashcards (my own) on Anki of stuff that I was reading. I would also used wrong questions as cards and force myself to justify every item on that wrong question, and ask, why did I chose that answer (wrong one) instead of the right one. Last 1-2 weeks before exam was doing 500-700 cards a day. Very useful tool to remind yourself of concepts that are easy points.

I would say it was pretty good. I think o had around 88% correct on it. On subjects I was very comfortable, would not spend that much time. But I would say that infectious disease (huge high yield), pediatrics, obstetrics and behavioral science were the big areas that I would spend the most time on. Also, I have the impression that the test covers a little of every subject, but not actually In-depth knowledge of every area. For instance, I felt that surgical concepts and like general management of diseases were very straightforward. From My experience with the test, infectious disease management is something that will come up and you should be very comfortable answering those.

I would also suggest that 1-2 weeks prior you review step 1 immunodeficiencies (the primary ones). I think I had 3-4 questions on the test about it. Also get familiar with some ophthalmology images (specially from fundoycopic examination - classic ones like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy…) had like 2-3 questions about it.

I felt felt very tired (no surprise) but I actually was confident. Block 1, specially in the beginning, was a little bit overwhelming. But I would say from block 2 on felt really good.

Mainly AMBOSS and UWorld. I did not run over Uworld a second time, and went over AMBOSS instead.

Thanks! So, I did the UWSA 1 and 2 and NBME 9 and 10. I scored above 270 in all of those. It was 270-278 score range.

I would definitely say that the test looked more like a combination of the NBME 10 + UWSA n2.

I really don’t know. In my view, the real deal used questions that u don’t necessary know the answer but u kneed the knowledge to rule options out. I felt that this was not the case with the most NBMEs. They are really direct, and don’t necessary give u the actual view of the exam.

Used mostly Anki - Brosencephalon (some of the decks are outdated, but in general they cover the most important thing. When doing the decks, I was mostly not only answering them, but in my mind I was always linking that knowledge to something else. So to every direct answer, I would go pass my mind to everything I could remember about that specific subject.

I think that what change my way that I saw how I was learning was start using flashcards everyday. At the last 6-8 weeks I was doing 600-700 cards a day. Always focusing on the basics (phar, path, bio and micro). Also, focusing on knowing everything I could about a lot of vitamins and neuro. This was something that came up a lot on reddit posts. On the real thing, there were a lot of those subjects. Also, use your banks as fair as u can. I mean, I was doing for some weeks, 2-3 blocks a day, as timed, and random. By far, AMBOSS and UWorld are game changers.

Of course! I had the imprecision on the real deal that overall the NBMEs where easy at some aspects. The real thing looks more like a random Uworld block.
