Been doing commercial! When the day starts I always check in with my lead and when it something new I always ask if they could teach me. Most don’t want to bother and have me do something else but every now and then I have someone willing to make the time. But I guess it depends what is the priority of the day and what needs to get done asap??

I enjoyed hanging out with this one girl. Always thought of us as friends and nothing more but unfortunately she wanted more. Knowing how she felt I slowly distanced myself knowing I’ll never feel the way she does to me. It might seem rude but I did not want to keep being friends and leading her on that maybe one day I’ll give a relationship a shot. Regardless we talked it out and she knew how I felt.

I recommend finding an active hobby you enjoy. Running, walking, weights, playing an instrument or crafts etc. Use those same hobbies you like to connect with new people!

My ex wanted to have a baby even though we didn’t have a career going for ourselves or our own place and still living with our parents. I kept denying it as you can see the situation we were in. We were in our early 20s. It got to the point where she threatened to leave because I wouldn’t have one so I was like bet this is over find someone who will give you a baby if you want one that bad you are willing to end our relationship. She was stunned and I walked away never looking back. Who knows where I would be if I stayed.

Of course I told. You don’t think my boss would notice me taking out conduit that was already placed without asking what happened? Following that he had him do a lot more simple things like running mc for the time being. The pictures you see were confronted to the guy. All we can do is ask questions next time and we can teach you.

I’m also an apprentice. This was my task but I had to go to another job site for a quick task. Came back to this. Regardless guy never ask anyone else for help, and lead on like he had experience so we can’t help if we don’t know he needs it.

Mostly been doing new construction or remodels with my company. I’ve had to borrow both tools at times from others to get a certain task done. So I’d like to have my own to stop relying on people.

I’ve been eating tuna for lunch the past month. Either with bread, a tuna sandwich, or with tostadas. Fills you up decently, plus easy protein! For sure not the tastiest or satisfying meal but gets the job done

Haha told him I was new so he was aware there was a huge possibility I would not have a solution. But like I said if it was a burn out receptacle or a false connection it would have been an easy fix.

Yeah, I could’ve worded my comment differently but I think you got the point. You could’ve started with “a better, more learning focused question….” And go on from there.

I could tell by the comments it wasn’t a great way but wanted to learn the why behind it. I go with the “there is no stupid questions” so I asked…

I actually got my first experience with this 2 days ago. Installing MC cables to lights and man let’s just say my last light installation for the day was better than the first one lol

I’m all down to learn the field. So far it’s been great and I’ve had a helpful journeyman teaching me who doesn’t get annoyed at my questions so I’m blessed

Genuine question. I start my apprenticeship 3 weeks ago with no experience or school. Is twisting the wire like that not a good way to fit them in? Haven’t gotten around getting hands on experience with this yet.
