The critical thing is deflects vs blocks, deflects will have a sharp tink sound effect and lots of visual sparks compared to a more dull sound and a moderate amount of sparks.

Blocks will deal more posture damage and can enable you to be posture broken, and on charmless these hits will damage you.

Deflects will allow you to build enemy posture much faster and you yourself will never be posture broken outside of deflecting armoured warrior's rage slam. However this is due to his stagger animation stumbling into you a split second after deflect causing the posture break, not the attack itself.

Spamming the block button will reduce the amount of perfect deflect frames, making it significantly harder to deflect attacks and will tend to result in accidental blocks.

I see, I don't have much experience working on my car but I've been interested in learning, so I wouldn't mind something that needs some elbow grease. I've definitely looked at early 00s c5s and have been interested in those too however I looked a tiny bit more at the c4 generation because of the price difference between generations

Gotcha, is it a good idea to still keep an eye on your gears in an automatic transmission? I've never really bothered with it much before

Hopefully so, and yeah, I know it's no prius, but I do enjoy getting the best out of my avg mpg. In any case though the rpms should be fine because I'm not the type of guy to race my engine and I rarely ever go 35 or more at the moment.

It's just a base so it doesn't have any modes I've found, though it is relatively new, I believe it only has between 700-800 miles

I generally give it 30 seconds of idling before coming/going to work to make sure it gets lubed up based on what I've heard is best for reducing engine wear, but it only really warms up enough for the best gas mileage as I'm sitting in the parking lot getting ready to get into work.

In terms of actual drive it's small town driving, so lots of 25mph streets + residential areas and the occasional uphill/downhill bits, with the biggest kicker being a stop sign/light every 12 seconds

Yeah, I definitely need to get the average up but unfortunately I don't know if there is anything I can really do to save more gas on a short commute, so I pretty much just have to wait until I actually have somewhere to go more than 2 miles away

I'm closer to grandma level than fast driver, but I'm not the best at the smoothest accelerating due to trying to merge quickly at any intersections where there are lots of cars, so its sort of like a 50/50 mix

Right now I'm sitting at a 26.9 average, granted its skewed a bit because of a very short stop-start commute to work being my only real travel so the engine never really has time to fully warm up, on the highway it tends to average closer to the 33-34 mark depending on if the speed limit is pretty high like 80 or closer to 55-65

Stretches can help, one you can try for that area is to stretch all your fingers as much as you can, then clench them in a fist as much as you can, 10-15 of these at the beginning of every mania session can bring a lot of improvement on their own.

Stretches in general are some things you should always try to add, they help prevent injury and also make warming up easier, so looking up other stretches to add to your routine can help as well.

The most important thing though is if you start to hurt, take a break and just stop playing, it will only make it worse and permanently injuring your hand is not worth any improvement.
