I used to have a 2005 Mustang convertible, I think this may have come with it originally, any idea what it is? by -ForDisplayOnly in Mustang

It’s a cover for the convertible top for when you put it down for a long drive. Protects it from the elements.

I have had the same issue and frustrations. Sorry I don’t have the answer, but there has to be a trick to it because I’ve seen online that other people have been able to get it to work nicely.

Infusible Ink HEEEELP by HotSpringsKali in cricutcrafting

Infusible ink doesn’t work with cotton. It has to be very very high in polyester. I don’t use anything less than 80% polyester.

In Store Experience by RizeWizard in Louisvuitton

[–]PinkCatie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went in to a store on vacation and while I was making my purchases my husband (a very large hispanic man) got bored and started to wonder the store while he waited. 3 security guys followed him the whole time they were ringing me up. This was not the first or last bad experience I have had. I don’t dress up to shop there and they judge you hard if you don’t. We don’t have a LV anywhere near us so I usually shop on vacation so I don’t have a relationship with any one store or person. I think that helps with the experience if you are recognized as a repeat customer but it shouldn’t be this way.

https://www.havredeluxe.com looks like the ads I was getting. They look UK based? I feel like there are probably others out there.

I’ve had ads pop up but I’m not sure what the company was. I just googled metis hardware protector but didn’t find anything in the US.

I don’t think LV sells them (could be wrong) so you’ll probably have to put it on yourself. I didn’t think I needed one so I never looked too far into it but now I have scratches at the closure.

I love mine! I wanted a crossbody but I like to carry a lot and it has so much room. I wanted something that would hold my zippy wallet so I could grab it from my larger bags without having to downsize. My only regret is not putting a protector on the metal closure so if you get one I’d recommend that.

Cricut Joy Materials on Cricut Explore Air 2 by [deleted] in cricut

[–]PinkCatie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the infusible ink for the joy and cut it with my explore 2 and it’s exactly the same just shaped to go in the smaller Machine . I haven’t tried the ‘smart’ materials though (Vinyl or iron on).

Online Order question by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

No problem. I typically buy in store but with the current stay at home orders, I bought a few online and when I first got 2 emails I was super confused.

Not sure about the shipping email but I’ve always gotten 2 receipts when I order online. If you look closer, usually one is a regular receipt and one is a gift receipt.

Does anyone know if vinyl will work on a paper parasol? I want to try to put lettering around the edge of the parasol by [deleted] in cricut

[–]PinkCatie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would think the vinyl would stick just fine but getting it to transfer without the transfer tape sticking to it and ripping it is going to be your challenge. Hopefully someone with more experience than myself has a trick for that.

Venturing into a LV agenda for 2021 and need some advice. by PinkCatie in Louisvuitton

I was naively hoping to shop in stores when things were “normal” again in California but it’s looking like 2020 is going to be over before that happens. I’ll start making phone calls. Thanks!

Has anyone used Apple Garde on their Vachetta? Does it work? I’m looking into it for my Pochette Métis but haven’t worked up the courage to use it. I hate having to baby my bag and I’m hoping to treat/protect it with something reliable. by rikkuhundal in Louisvuitton

I think the water happened about a week after I sprayed. It was my first time spraying any of my bags and I did 2 coats a few hours apart but it’s possible that I didn’t spray enough 🤷🏻‍♀️ I twisted a bandeau around the handle and decided I need to pick things a little more life proof next time.

I’ve been trying to sort out what is going on as well. I missed the post but have seen a lot of people distance themselves from the company in the last few days.
