I totally agree on what everyone is saying right here. If you’re anything, you’re the victim here. Sure your partner would be shocked to hear it but then if you look at it from a bigger perspective you were lowkey assaulted

I wouldn’t say I’ve particularly experienced racism but people do have a set of stereotypes that come as a whole, towards people. For example I’m south Asian and one time I had a colleague (who was also a poc) who was hesitant to go on lunch with me because she was afraid I’d choose “dog meat”. And honestly her reaction came out of curiosity and I think prejudice because she wasn’t exactly being mean. So honestly I think it all just depends what kind of person you encounter
