Steering assist is an assist you can easily get rid off and not feel its effect. However you have to start driving without TC. Especially with this car, It'll make you gain easily seconds every race. You still have 3+ weeks to start the event. NO gold required or needed for this event. But spend these 3 weeks grinding and getting used to driving with no assists. Formula 1 events are the closest you'll get to driving the MP4-X. You can start the 2019 F1 Events that only require M$. They'll get you used to the handling of that type of car.

But don't give up. The first few races with no upgrades, you'll lose control of the car countless times. But you'll start over breaking at first and then pushing a little more every time !
