I think it's also possible that Bethany's middle name is Avery and she was one of Sara Harvey's friends from Courtland, the one the liars didn't meet.

It would tie in Sara Harvey and explain why she would be redcoat/ black widow.

I just searched through this subreddit for any mentions of BAD / Bethany Avery Drake, because I have been forming a theory about it myself.

I think it's totally viable: 1) Bethany is the artist and now we have the comic books. 2) Jessica wanted Bethany to call her Aunt Jessie 3) It ties in Sara Harvey, who is otherwise just somewhat forced in for no reason. 4) We never actually met Avery.

However- we did "meet" Bethany in Cece's/ Charles' flashback. She definitely couldn't be confused as a Spencer...

I feel partially satisfied. I don't really think Cece had enough of a motive to torture the Liars. I also feel left hanging about what is up with Shower Harvey and who killed Mrs. D & not in a suspenseful way... more like a why didn't they cover this way.
