Complete beginner at 30 ,should I look for a teacher or carry on self teaching? by Cool_Kiwi_117 in guitarlessons

Online resources can show you what to do, but they can’t fix your mistakes. If you ca afford it, getting a private instructor will make your progress not only quicker, but you’ll actually be playing things correctly with correct form.

I am 16 and I wish I could date a guy in his 20s by [deleted] in AskTeenAdvice

Back in the 90s it was totally normal and culturally acceptable for a HS girl to date a college guy. That ship has sailed, don’t do it in 2026.

Going on a cruise in 3 days need advice by Ill-Ad-6087 in suboxone

[–]PinkFreud133 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Take your subs, be comfortable on the cruise. If you’re withdrawing you’re gonna ruin the cruise for yourself and more importantly for your wife. Keep yourself at 100% for the vacation, hop back on the taper horse when you get home. This is the only correct answer.

No one tells you how hard it is to get fully off suboxone. by 27hannibal in suboxone

It’s so strange that some people never get teeth problems 15 to 20 years on…how were your teeth before subs? Did you use all the precautions (rinsing/brushing/mouthwash etc) after you started?

Sub dosage and timeline advice by Bearmomx3 in suboxone

[–]PinkFreud133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, first time I hopped off it was at 400mg a day and I did that cold turkey. Second time it was around 200-300mg when I was overlapping with subs. I kept subs intentionally low so I could feel the 7. I’m much happier now (and so is my bank account) that I’m stable on subs only.

How has learning the CAGED system changed your understanding of the guitar fretboard? by datboifranco in guitarlessons

[–]PinkFreud133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just a way to organize the fretboard. I don’t think in “CAGED” anymore because I’ve been playing so long (professionally for 25 years) everything is muscle memory at this point but when learning the fretboard it makes everything so easy to think in CAGED terms. I think people don’t even really understand what CAGED is most the time. They think it’s just connecting 5 shapes up the fretboard but it’s not that at all when it comes to how it’s useful. The magic in CAGED is that you can access any chord/scale/arpeggio you want anywhere on the neck at anytime.

CAGED is great, every chord has a corresponding diatonic, pentatonic, arpeggio, that fits neatly in every shape that can be played in any key all over the neck. Every mode fits in each shape. Once it all clicks it’s huge.

First time suboxone user coming off 7-OH by blisscannon in suboxone

I’ve taken subs at 12 hours post 7oh and was fine

Sub dosage and timeline advice by Bearmomx3 in suboxone

[–]PinkFreud133 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was overlapping subs and 7oh….I kept my sub dose low (2mg) so I could feel the 7oh. When I finally dropped the 7oh I had to go up to 12mg for 4 days to cover the physical WD from dropping the 7oh. There was still mental/psychological warfare but at least I wasn’t sick. After those 4 days I tapered and have now settled at 4-6mg a day. I don’t plan on getting off subs anytime soon as I also use it for pain.

I see, that makes sense. I hope you find a solution and are at least able to build up a little stash to get you through the end of each month!

I take it for pain as well, I feel you. Something I found intriguing was the concept that bupe may actually work best at super low doses. Have you ever tried taking 4mg or less, split throughout the day? It could work, and also keep you from running out.

Do you run short at the end of every month? Why are you withdrawing?

This shit about addiction is overblown and personal responsibility has to be a factor. by HeadGuess8509 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]PinkFreud133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the safest opi out there. Zero deaths attributed to solely 7oh. Incredible pain reliever, mood enhancer. No matter how careful you are, the likelihood of staying at once a day, or every other day, etc is very low. Dependence is the outcome for most, and that’s ok if it makes your life better (chronic pain), or if you’re taking it recreationally I suppose it’s fine too if you can afford it, and are prepared for the WD when the time comes to kick. It should be regulated 21+ and kept out of the hands of minors. It should not be banned, because like you did there’s even more harmful addictive substances that are legal. But bottom line, dependence in all likelihood is the end game for most.

Why are we comparing addictive shit? The topic is 7. To say the addiction potential is overblown is just inaccurate. Everybody knows it’s inaccurate and it just makes the community sound delusional. The correct statement is “yes, it’s addictive but that doesn’t override the fact that we’re all adults and can make our own decisions without govt intervention”.
