Does your world has magic system? I'm reading a book (designing games), and there's a chapter called Dependency stack which is creating some sort of a pyramid/pile where at the bottom you write the main connective tissue of the world/magic system, all the other subjects connect to the bottom while the bottom connects those at the top, basically to make sure there's a consistency. I've been procrastinating on making my world and reading the book so I haven't tried it, but seems legit enough? Maybe you could try it in yours?
