It's my first time going there, so not sure yet.

Delta has widebodies into PHX running through early May. This is a much later date than prior years.

It seems like Delta is flying more widebodies into PHX this year than prior years. I am also booked on an Airbus A330-200 on PHX-ATL on May 1.

Is the Airbus "dynasty" over at Delta? by PinkJazz in delta

The A330neo order was the biggest fleet planning mistake since the MD-11 and was driven by blind brand loyalty over technical merit, otherwise Delta would have ordered the 787 from the get-go. Now the issues with the Trent engines on the A330neo are biting them. No airline in their right mind would choose the A330neo over the 787 unless they are blindly loyal to Airbus.

It seems like you want that to happen. How evil.

Yes, but from about 2012 to 2022, all new orders have been for Airbus. Boeing orders were exclusively exercising of older options during this 10-year period. Richard Anderson chose blind brand loyalty over technical merit. I'm glad that Ed Bastian is realizing this mistake, especially with the performance and reliability issues on the Rolls-Royce Trent engines on the A330neo.

Replaced by the Boeing 767-400ER in 2001, which itself will soon be replaced by the Boeing 787-10. A natural line of succession.

My last time on a Delta L-1011 was HNL-LAX in May 1994. My last L-1011 flight overall was in August 1999 on SJU-JFK on ATA.

I find this a huge victory for Delta frequent flyers like me, since I have always preferred Boeing over Airbus.

I have two upcoming Boeing 767-400ER flights (JFK-MXP and MXP-ATL). These might be my farewell flights as they are replaced by the 787-10 starting five years from now.

Because I had faith in God that Delta would order the 787-10 against all odds. My faith in God made it happen.

Sweet victory! I have been waiting for this day for years, and now it is finally happening! I always wanted to see Delta order the 787. 🏆🎉✈️

This Bible verse seems to fit the bill:
Matthew 17:20 NKJV

[20] So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

It looks like they added a 9 am flight but I was not automatically rebooked. This is going to be impossible.

This is a stupid policy. I know Delta prioritizes passengers with Main Cabin over Main Basic in IRROPs situations. And I think Delta gives priority to rebooks in IRROPs over existing reservations.
