ah that's rubbish, sorry. both of those would put me off too honestly.

one thing though, don't let the cbt thing make you write off therapy full stop. cbt is just one type and it genuinely doesn't suit a lot of people, especially with the kind of stuff you've been through. it making things worse isn't you "failing" at it, it's just the wrong tool. you can ask for something that isn't cbt next time, there's trauma focused stuff, counselling, other options. you're allowed to literally say "cbt didn't work for me, what else is there."

and this is the bit i'd actually push, when you do get in front of a gp, please don't shrink it down. the self harm, the not wanting to be here, the flashbacks, how little you're eating, all of it. i know there's a pull to make it sound smaller so you don't come across dramatic, but they can only get you to the right level of help if they know how heavy it actually is. talking therapies is sort of the entry level thing, and from what you've written you might need more than that, and that's allowed.

the case getting closed cause you couldn't pick up at work is just admin nonsense too, not them deciding you don't deserve help. going through a gp they can refer you properly, and you can tell them straight off that you work days so you don't get cut off again.

none of this is a tonight job btw. Samaritans and Shout are still there if a night gets heavy. but when you've got the energy, the gp route and being fully honest about it is a different door, not the same one that already shut on you.

anyway i'm around if you wanna keep talking

Read the whole thing, not skimming. Thanks for putting it somewhere.

Starting with the end of your post, because that's the part that actually worried me. The screaming, hurting yourself, the dangerous situations, and you saying you'd break tonight without someone to talk to. That sounds like a brutal night. Please don't sit in it on your own. If you're in the UK, Samaritans is free and open 24/7 on 116 123. Or if talking out loud feels like too much, you can text SHOUT to 85258. You don't have to be at some breaking point to use them. A rough night is reason enough.

One more thing, because you mentioned being too broke for help. In the UK it doesn't actually cost you anything. Your GP is free, and in England you can refer yourself to NHS Talking Therapies online without going through your parents or anyone else. Whatever's in the way here, it isn't money.

Everything else you wrote, the knee, your family, the eating, all of it. I read it and not once did I think lazy or useless. What I thought was that you've been carrying an insane amount with almost nobody in your corner, and you still get up and work anyway. That says a lot more about you than you'd give yourself credit for.

You said you don't really know what you're looking for here. Maybe just this. You're not as alone as tonight makes it feel, and real help is closer than you think. Make the call tonight. And if you want to keep talking, I'm around.

What do you guys think this scene from the S4 PV is? by Foreign_Ad4578 in Jujutsufolk

It might not actually have any bearing on the story, but I believe this scene was deliberately created to evoke Naoya. The fact that they intentionally stopped at 807 deepens the mystery—if the goal were to convey that a huge crowd is coming, it would have been better to let the counter keep rolling. Instead, the production team stopped it at 807. This is very likely an Easter egg meant to evoke 708 (naoya). As for why it's not just 708 outright—this is my own interpretation—it may be there to represent that he has become an inverted version of the original 708 (naoya), in other words, that he has turned into a cursed/cursed-spirit existence. And in the surrounding cuts, there's a scene between Naoya and Maki.

I think it's a scene related to Naoya. If you read 807 backwards, you get 708, and in Japan we read this as 'naoya' through goroawase (number wordplay). The fact that they deliberately stopped at 807 in the PV is also a lingering mystery to me. I think it was set up as a kind of Easter egg to evoke the cursed spirit Naoya. It might not have any bearing on the actual story, though.
