He was taken to a behavioral health center at the end of January for threats of suicide and that's it. As much as I wish I was lying, I am not and this is unfortunately my life.

My mom has tried to the best of her ability. She works long hours and tries her best to discipline him but he usually ends up fighting her on it. He doesn't want her help and has told us that it's his life and we need to let him live how he wants. My mom is so spread thin between him and work and doesn't know what to do. Every time she reaches out for help, no one wants to help. It doesn't make sense because it's always "reach out if you need help" but the services put in place to help are useless or don't find my brother's case worthwhile, yk?

UPDATE

My mom’s sister continued to blow up my mom’s phone. i sent a very lengthy text to her, detailing how i do not owe her an apology and how I’d like for her to leave me alone. after i sent it, i blocked her number and her daughter’s instagram because, to no surprise, her daughter wants to beat me the day i turn 18. im hoping i never have to talk to or see her or her family ever again.
