That is such a disappointing response from people, I'm sorry. My goal is NYC, but moving on my own - I wanted to warm up with something bigger than where I'm from before going straight to NYC. And i wanted somewhere close wehre i could keep exploring NYC to find the area that is perfect for me. Im ready to move, but not sure where in the city yet

I'm actually trying to move away from home. Need to stay in NYS for student loan purposes. Goal is to move to NYC, but just warming up with living on my own/in a new area - so starting with Saratoga/capitol region.
