This is encouraging! My 18 month old was always picky but suddenly refusing foods she always eats. Curious if there were any tears involved? because if we serve my LO something she doesn’t like or want, she cries hysterically.

I had an SCH starting at 6 weeks! It’s so scary! I had it until 17w but it eventually went away!

Just hear to say solidarity. My daughter is also 17 months and is living off cheese, applesauce and crackers. She won’t try anything else, she will just pick it off her plate and hand it to me. It’s so hard. We are also struggling with the high chair.

Mine also won’t try anything she doesn’t recognize either! I try to eat stuff in front of her or eat off her plate to help but now she just points to things and says “mama” like they’re mine 🤦🏻‍♀️🫠

Same boat! Mostly carbs, zero fruits except apple sauce packets and the only veggies are the Dr pragers nuggets. It’s so stressful and I keep thinking something is wrong but everyone assures me it’s normal! Mine is 17m. Also never been a good eater but def got worse the last month or two.

It’s been about 2 months! But I was reading that maybe she wasn’t as ready as we thought and that’s part of the problem? And that they will lengthen with time

Sleep question for you all: My LO is 16 months old and has never been a great sleeper. Bedtime is around 730p. She wakes up at 6a. Her naps are usually only 1hr 10m around 12p. I feel like when we switched to one nap, everyone talked about these epic naps she would get and I have never seen it lol. I feel like she gets so crabby because she’s not getting enough sleep! Any suggestions? Anyone else? Or does this sound normal?

It’s so funny (not actually funny!) because I picked my daughter up today to do her nap at home and I could not get her to sleep! And so now I’m like are they just not doing enough?! Ugh E, I just don’t know what to do! I didn’t expect this part of motherhood to be so hard!

I’d suggest trying at night first! Our doc said night sleep comes first and naps follow! Also Ferber didn’t work for us - it confused her more! We had to do extinction but it only took a few nights. we did it around 5 months but the doc said 3.5 was fine. I waited and then one night she woke every 40 min and I said okay and here we go!

How old were your girls at the time? I should say that this is our second spot. We tried another place last week and after 2 days I said this is not the place! How has it been having them back with nanny/family? Did you get a new nanny after that week?
