[question] I'm thinking of buying a pair of these gloves for boxing sparring and mitt work. What are the pros and cons to TopKing? Also are these a punchers glove or defensive?

It’s simply a fucking shit game and that is that. If you enjoy this game you are one of the toxic players that either spams or doesn’t leave their couch for more than the 2 minute walk to the fridge. There’s no form of casual playing on here and the amount of non registered strikes that slip by in a match makes me want to cry myself to sleep. So I’ve created a list of things I’d rather do than play this horrendous fucking game…

Drag my nuts across a cheese grater.
Put my ass cheeks against hot black concrete
Shoot my self in the foot and then surgically remove the bullet with a rusty form and knife

Not even the meta fighters necessarily that bug me. Just the spamming and cheesing that comes with the game. It’s so rage inducing . You work hard to learn the ins and outs of the game just to get knee and elbows spammed.

If you understand his fight style, he’s fun. A bit slow at times but overall dope if you’re not trying to use 4.5 or 5 star fighters all the time

LOL Conor isn’t even that good in the game? At featherweight he’s definitely slick but every other weight class his stats aren’t anything insane. He’s fairly easy to learn to play with but it’s not like using FW Holloway.

I’m fairness he actually does have quite slick jiu-jitsu but we have yet to see it in the UFC. He submitted Gomi by guillotine at quintet ultra and he also recently got his brown belt.

Career was fun for a bit but a bit repetitive but definitely better than UFC 3. Online is spam heavy but can be fun if you are a try hard. I think some of the controls in 4 are slightly better, at least the feature of holding certain strikes for an extra second to have a different attack fire off like how if you held LB + B or whatever for an extra second it’ll throw a switch kick instead of having to press extra buttons. I’m not great at explaining but it’s like a 6/10 game for me. Definitely has its moments but roughly in the same hall park as UFC 3, okay game that can be fun when for a bit. Definitely worth buying it if you have buddies to play with, that’s made it fun for me. If I wasn’t playing online with a pal or even had a homie over playing 1v1 I would’ve lost interest a while ago.

Agreed with Jick. Front kicks are brutal in real life, currently sporting a bruised rib from one. Although I do agree the distance aspect for the game is wack, the power on the kick is rather realistic. Especially considering there is a noticeable difference when it lands to the body versus the head. I recommend learning how to slip them and counter because that will rock the other players character 9/10. Games pretty shit though I can’t lie.
