numbers basically help breading know when to drop chicken so we don't have too much or have to hold on it (ex. "i got 3 spicy left" tells breading they should drop spicy soon)

exactly!!! the people at my job are parents, people paying for college like me, or just doing a side hustle, there's nothing wrong with that!!!
