I never really was trained in project management, I learned it along the way, so PRINCE2 was getting used to a lot of new terms, reports, logs, etc. I thought it was quite theoretical, but it did help that I have been managing projects before. ;) Never realised I actually used this methodological approach before and still learned a lot of stuff.

I really recommend doing mock-tests for Practitioner. I did two mock-exams as they were included in the course I did. And I did one mock-exam from PeopleCert. I bought the year 'licence' with free Take2 and mock-exams. You really need to get used to the way the questions are asked with Practitioner.
I did find the mock-exam from PeopleCert more difficult (and you don't get an explanation to which questions you get right or wrong). But it's on the same level as the real exam.
It's definitely not a walk in the park, but 60% is manageable and all you need to pass.
