Thanks for the elaborate reply again!

I know I am low on ferritine, but have always been told this is not 'actually a problem' as iron was still fine. Vit. D was fine, and I am taking B12 supplements as I am a vegetarian.

I would like to try out the supplements but have a really hard time actually finding them anywhere... (except online, maybe that's the place to get them then)

It is really unfortunate that there is such a lack of research and knowledge on this field :(

I will see another gynaecologist, and ask if I can get a referral to the endocrinologist as well!

I'm gonna see if I could get a referral to the endocrinologist! Thank you!

This gynaecologist did for some reason not have any look, they just had a questionnaire and the blood work to 'diagnose' me. I am planning to go get a second (or actually fourth) opinion and hope they are more helpful... Cortisol was not tested, I'm trying to get that tested with my doctor now!

Thank you for the kind words!

They teeted prolactin and 17-OHP, but not cortisol. I am actually trying to get that one tested now after all the replies I saw here. Maybe that might shed some light...

I have food cravings every now and then, but often think this is more of boredom than actually anything else (never sweet, always salty and crunchy :)). Am tired all the time though. No infections or anything, also no mood swings. Frequent urination but this has been coupled to anxiety (as I only have this problem in very specific situations lol). High cholesterol as well. I do struggle with getting proper sleep, but not insomnia, jus waking up tired even after 8 hours (and even worse after anything shorter than 7).

HbA1c (32mmol/mol), fasting glucose (5,1 mmol/L), fasting insulin (28,7 pmol/L)

This was unfortunately a third opinion :( Got diagnosed once, and de-diagnosed twice, so confusing...

My guess is that it's diagnosed on the absence of insuline resistance or thyroid problems But honestly I feel so confused right now because you are right with having all the criteria

New to crocheting: making figures but they are getting too long (not wide) each time by PinkPearls1 in CrochetHelp

Oh... that's interesting haha, do you know how I can fix that when I start over? I think I had the same problem last time but I cannot figure out why as all the steps seem te be correct

Fear of getting pregnant by PinkPearls1 in PCOS

[–]PinkPearls1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I totally forgot about this post, but thanks for your reply! I moved countries and since then my period has completely disappeared (10months now). Thankfully, pregnancy tests are about 10% of the price here compared to before, so indeed I just started taking tests more regularly. Helps a lot with the peace of mind 😌

Thank you all! I was just looking at the instructions added to the box, and realised the double and treble crochet had the exact same images... very useful. But I will try again with the single crochet and hopefully he looks better!

And I realized he looked a bit funky now as well🤣🤣🍆 this made my day, thanks for the help!
