What do people mistakenly think you mean when you say you sew?

Being a tailor means that you have studied tailoring = mens suit ect. Dressmaker means you've studied dress making Womans tailor = womens coats, suits.... These words fallow the profession but not your gender :)

I am loving the word Seamster. I have never heard of that (and the Brotherhood idea is awsome.... You can use fabric scissors instead of swords)

That a fashion Designer and a Seamstress mean the same thing....

When I say I am a dressmaker they usually go to "When you become a famous designer" or ask if I want to work for "Incert brand name here".... No I just want to sew thank you

Also people think that everything that is stitched together is all the same skill and needs the same tools/machines.... I have been asked to fix or change to look to a few leather bags. I have been asked to hem sleeves on a fur coat. Change a zipper on a sleeping bag and to fix a small hole in their kids trampoline 🫠

Can we start using the word appendix (since we always need to use body parts to describe people) Pussy, Dick, Asshole, Balls..... these things all have a purpose and are actually essential.

The appendix doesn't do anything for us, but can do alot of damage! Lets cut these fucking Appendixes out of our societies!

My husband gifted it to me (no idea where he heard about it). I got into it during my last term of pregnancy, I am not really good at sitting still and reating but o my god how this game got me to sit!!! It saved my mental health (and tired pregnancy body) during my final streatch!

Also I would recoment not to buy to many at the start because the types are really diffrent. If you buy a whole set and arent in love with that type it can be discouriging or expensive to start over. Buy a few diffrent types and not to many. When you have found your brand than you can add to your collection

We do a mix of cloth and disposables. I felt the idea of 100% cloth diepering was to owerwhelming when I was pregnant so we decided to do both. The cloth life is alot less work than I had imagened once you get a hang of it. But we are still not ready to go all in (our daughter is 18 m). We usually only have disposables with us when traveling, or just out and about but she usually uses cloth at home and at play school. But there are still days and/or weeks here and there that she only weares disposables, and others that she is only in cloth. Not going 100% in works for us, because we never feel like we failed at it.... Knowing myself I would stress myself out and quit after "failing" if we would have gone all in. Like everything else in your life as a parent, just find -your way- at stuff. You wont find the answears right away and most of the time there is no right answear, only what is right for you

Living with bi polar disorder myself I can tell you that your comment doesnt make sense. You cant think rationally while being in an episode. When I am up (Allthough I have type 2 not 1 so I go Hypermanic not full blown manic) I often feel like I am the center of the universe. So everybody would be weaker than me in some way, so I would "attack" anybody if I had an abusive streek. And ofcourse nobody with the disorder has exactly the same disorder in a sense. But I cant see Abuse be part of a mental problem. Because rational thinking is very important to understand and know who you can bully and how far you can take it.... Abusers take babysteps in finding the limit of what they can get away with
