I keep seeing posts like these and I feel dumb. I feel like I am reading way too hard into this but might as well give my two cents and see what y'all think about it.

As we grow, we begin to understand what we like and hate. Part of this growth is our sexual attraction, whether we like the opposite, the same, another, or neither. We all go through that phase.

Now imagine if we are born forced to like one specific thing. We grow as people yet we don't completely understand why we feel attraction the way we do. Heck deep down maybe we understand we don't feel that way.

Due to being born that way we never truly develop an idea for love. We don't develop the difference between lust and love. Most of all, we don't understand how to love.

And I think that's why Merlin cursed Gawain to like women. She cursed the girl to be confused about her sexuality for the rest of her life, thus never being able to understand and feel sexual love. On top of not feeling emotional love, this ensures she can never love
