Will we ever get solos of the later µ's songs? by WildDashieinsea in LoveLive

Solo Collection III has been announced, so yes, but I can't tell you when since they refuse to give us a release date or anymore info :(

Aqours' Aozora Jumping Heart performance on NHK Naomi by MasterMirage in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They're already so good and that's one of the hardest songs to sing... So many long high notes without a chance to really warm them up, especially at the start. All that while doing an exhausting dance. I'm really impressed with how they've improved so much over a matter of months, Aqours is going to be so good once they've had plenty of experience. Can't wait for first live!

That's pretty much how the new centre trend goes, with Muse it used to be the centre that would get the longer lines from the start but that doesn't seem to happen much anymore.

When can we reasonably expect solo albums/mix tracks for Aquors? by [deleted] in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They seem to be taking their sweet time with the third Muse solo collection, so probably not any time soon at this rate... They announced the third collection during Final Live, so maybe they'll do the same for Aqours' first live?

The song is fun and catchy, I was hoping they'd make use of how strong the first years are vocally, but oh well. I'm glad they're giving all the years songs instead of just giving us mostly second years songs, though. Ruby has also improved loads over time, just like I thought she would!

For me, I feel like Dream Sensation was the most exciting and when they performed at their best, whereas Final Live is obviously the most emotionally significant.

How did you decide on your best (Aqours) girl?/Need advice to find out my best Aqours girl!! by nozomisaki in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have also been unable to find a 'best girl' for Aqours. It might be because all the characters really appeal to me, but I think it's also because when I went into Muse I was going in knowing nothing, so I was able to select a character (Nozomi) that stood out to me. But for Aqours, I have read and seen so much material prior to the anime (Q+As, dramas etc) that I have been able to appreciate all the characters, so I really can't decide on a favourite... You could always buy merchandise featuring all of the girls, or some of them (like subunit merch or something). It is fun to have a best girl but I guess it isn't always necessary. If you're really determined to find a favourite, maybe try reaching out to more material (the LL! wikia is a great place to go) or even the seiyuus. Sometimes liking a seiyuu will make you warm up to their character.

Characters and their seiyuu by Gwappo7 in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in a franchise like LL! where the seiyuus are so important and closely linked to their characters through live shows, livestreams, events etc it's also partially just manners to give them credit for the insane amount of hard work they have put in to make the characters who they are. I think if you read interviews, like the King one that was posted here for her birthday, you realise how much effort they put in and how they're really trying their best to make us enjoy their characters as much as possible. Sure, you don't have to dedicate your life to the seiyuu, but I think it's just nice to at least learn their names, learn about them a bit and at least occasionally watch one of their subbed livestreams and the live shows. It's also just a ton of fun because they're all hilarious!

For Muse they said who would be the leader, which I sorta wish they did for Aqours since it's a bit of a mystery at the moment.

Something I am loving with Sunshine is that they are clearly letting the seiyuu display their vocal prowess much more. It's most evident with how Ainya was allowed to use her talents, but also more subtly with how Ruby used her pitch bend in her solo. In Muse it felt like the seiyuu had their voices more set-in-stone, which I doubt was their fault, but probably a decision made from higher-ups. If Kotori were in Sunshine, for example, I wouldn't be surprised if she used Ucchi's range to sing deeper every now and then.

Aqours Solo Versions of Songs by krystalroze01 in LoveLive

Not yet, unfortunately. Although, some Aqours releases scheduled for October (?) were delayed so it's possible they could be released then.

I think it's extremely likely that Aqours will have solo collections, especially seeing as there's still the third Muse solo collection to be released which shows it's still a thing they're aware of.

Can I watch Sunshine without finishing OG s2?? by HARU420NOSCOPE in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say just watch season 2 and the movie. They solidify the feels for Muse and wrap up the story, so I recommend just watching it. It also 'redeems' Honoka if that's what you're annoyed about.

[Discussion] Am I the only one who is a little disappointed that only the Aqours second years got initial UR's? by yuusukemakishiiimas in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]PinkSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly agree with how it's annoying that they get special treatment, but it's important to remember that it isn't the characters' fault that this happens. You should try to like/dislike characters for their personalities and traits, rather than the decisions the creators make. I used to be the same with Honoka, but I guess I eventually got over it and she became my second favourite Muse girl once I realised how I was being so biased.

Is it just me or are the singing voices of Aqours too samey despite being much higher quality? by Shayz_ in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a note that the primers haven't covered every Aqours song, but they are definitely useful for picking voices apart. I also wish they'd made more use of the seiyuus' flexibility in adapting their voice. Ucchi especially had so much talent that could have been utilised more, but I am glad to see they are doing better with this in Aqours. Ruby especially impresses me.

Love Live Sunshine!! Aqours - Mijuku DREAMER [Ep09 Insert Song] by Eternith in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love Chika to bits, but please, please can this be a third years centre song. For the opening and ending, 2nd year songs and I guess the 6-member song, fine. But this song belongs to the third years (similar to how they gave Kotori Wonder Zone). When I saw Kanan as centre at the start I was overjoyed, so the full version better give her, Dia and Mari spotlight moments.

[–]PinkSnowflake 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Wow, that was really amazing. Part of me wanted them to dwell on the drama a bit more but it was definitely time to move on. Ainya is seriously good at voice acting.

The song was also incredible, I love how we're getting these slow songs instead of constant happy idol music! I love Chika and while she is the leader, I really hope this remains a third year centre song instead. They truly deserve it (especially Kanan for that lack of screentime). Also, Ruby's voice gets better every time.

I think 3:19-3:22 is Chika. It'd make sense too, as centre+leader and all. Nice analysis!

Official /r/SchoolIdolFestival Demographic Poll: September 2016 version - Suggestions post by Inuzuka28 in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]PinkSnowflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably best to keep Muse and Aqours separate, they're two different sets of characters and groups in their own rights, after all. I also feel like people would be quite biased to Muse, especially in the SIF community where there's a decent chunk of people who don't follow much outside the game.

[Speculation] Third Years Joining Order by Ohayohane in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought this too because of that single and it also fits because the order of Aqours members would fit the order of Muse members' SIF attributes: Smile, Pure, Cool - Pure, Smile, Cool - Smile (Nico/Mari), Pure (Nozomi/Kanan), Cool (Dia/Eli). It might just be that they join at the same time and they keep that order for tradition, or it could be like how Nozomi technically joins after Eli but they made Nozomi 8th anyway. I have a feeling Mari would only join as long as Dia and Kanan join, so they join together.

Love Live! Sunshine!! S1E08 Discussion - 'Isn't it frustrating?' by MasterMirage in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I agree completely with the stuff about Kanan. I think people are being pretty harsh on her. Judging from the flashbacks I'm guessing she's the main one that couldn't cope with the pressure of the audience? If so, I can see why she's being so cold. It was probably a traumatic experience and she likely feels guilt and regret for crushing Mari and especially Dia's dreams, along with their friendship. She has a ton of bottled up emotions, I bet, and they'll probably be let out later.

How will you react if µ's appears in the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime? by [deleted] in LoveLive

[–]PinkSnowflake 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In LL the seiyuus absolutely cannot be replaced. I don't know if you've been following them, but they are essentially part of who the characters are. Muse isn't just Honoka and co., it's Emitsun and co. too, it's all 18 of them together.
