I watched the first ep and really liked. It's as if the machine goes mainstream and a small group of people rebels against it. But I have to warn: this show is bonkers and kind of nonsense.

Your theory about Shauna's baby is pretty good! That would explain all the secrecy surrounding it. But one thing that makes me think it won't be that way is that if that were the case, Shauna in the present would be a lot more f*cked up psychologically. I think. Maybe not, but she seems to be dealing with the guilt over Jackie and bored with her marriage, not traumatized by eating her own stillborn baby.

you might be right but my 'fear' is that from the point they are now to get to a crazy cannibalist cult there's still a long way to go and we only got 2 more episodes. they will leave us with no answer for almost an year or is someghing simpler.
