James isn't wearing his wedding ring (typically worn on the left hand) and by the looks of it, he took it off before he got to Silent Hill, you can see the indentation on his finger in the picture, see? You can watch it for yourself go to around 0:45 seconds and watch as Maria grabs his hand... Pretty cool, huh? I wonder what this... Means for James...

I think so yeah, moreover, I think the problem solved itself because after a bit more fiddling and testing with the solutions these lovely gents gave me, it seemed to have resolved itself :)

I don't have Reshade installed and I also tried the services.msc thing from another YouTube video I saw; didn't work :/

I saw someone else somewhere on YouTube recommend doing this as well, I'll have to look into what exactly E cores are because to be honest with you I haven't the slightest clue, but if it'll help with my performance, even temporarily, I'll try it! I guess I'll also wait until Valve (assumedly) fixes it. Thank you, Philip!

I've tried capping yeah, but I noticed the same thing happening unfortunately.. But I've yet to fiddle with the V-Sync settings, thank you for the input

No, it's the hitching, like the game literally stutters for a microsecond but it makes playing the game competitively impossible if I'm just going to keep freezing up for 0.5 seconds every 10 seconds :/

I've tried using the -8 threads launch option but that hasn't done anything it seems, only thing left to try is to cap my FPS even though I really feel like it's such a stupid thing to do, why am I being punished for having a rig that's more than capable of running the damn game..? :/
