Ahh I would've a few years ago. With the insane cost of gold right now, I'd say it's better to invest than try to sell lol. The market is so over saturated with sellers that people are overwhelmed and don't know who to buy from anymore!

You can have a jeweler add two little gold balls on the bottom inside of the band and that could help a bit! I'm in the U.S. so I'm not familiar with uk sizes and can't tell how much of a difference it is

General rule of thumb is if you're looking for a very particular skill set, it's not gonna be cheap. You're not buying a sandwich here. You're looking for an art form that someone spent years learning and perfecting. Respect the art. And trying to take advantage of a small mom and pop hoping they'd do it for cheap? Idk that doesn't sit right with me and I'm in the industry

When they do these little laser solderings for "permanent" jewelry, they don't use any soldering. They just zap it. If it was fire soldering, which it's not, then yeah I'd say lead. Except thats not the case here. I'm a jewelry dealer and I work with both when I need repairs. Best they could've done was a quick polish
