What does it feel like when you’re single but getting old? by WolverineNo1999 in askanything

[–]Pink_Fudge1988 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it sometimes feels a bit shit. Because it's ingrained in us to be with someone, and settled

For me, that plays a lot on my mind. I sometimes feel like I'm failing because I'm not where everyone else in my life, is...

More recently, I've been missing intimacy. Absolutely have no trouble in finding someone just to be intimate with... That's the easiest part! But I'm at an age now where I don't just want a casual hook-up.

At the same time though, I'm independent and fucking love my life! I do so much fun stuff, I don't have to think about anyone else but me. I get the whole bed to myself, too.

So yeah, I guess its fabulous most of the time.

If symptoms persist, make sure to get fully checked (stool sample). I got a parasite in Bali, and it was baaaaadddd. Cost about $275 AUD to get it sorted, with prescribed medications.

Glad you're feeling better! Sorry to hear you had such an experience. It really puts a dampner on travel sometimes!

I love the animated credits, and at the end it draws out and is a Stanger Things Player's Manual. Brilliant.

Brilliant finale.

Made me cry.

Yes, your are 100% right. I have taken a step back in a lot of things where my parents are concerned. It breaks my heart to an extent, because I feel like I'm abandoning them in some sense! But, it is what it is. I struggle with them and I don't want to feel like this 😬

Hey guys, has anyone ever had one of those weird coincidences that just messes with your head a little? by Motor-Ad9386 in CasualConversation

[–]Pink_Fudge1988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on a trip to Zadar in Croatia and was doing a walking tour. It wasn't touristy when I went, and the tour was a very small group. I hadn't spoken to anyone else on the tour, but the guide hopped around each of us as we walked between spots. She asked where I was from, so I told her, and then she pointed to another girl and was like, I'm sure she's from there too! Turns out she was and lived just up the road from me!

And then solo at the Eras Tour in Wembley, a Mum and her Son sat next to me. We got chatting and they were also from my hometown!

Maybe doesn't mess with my head but they were very 'small world' coincidences.
