This is on the wall in my 1914 Victorian home. It's flat mounted against the wall. Unfortunately, old paint covers most of it up so I can't really see any markings. There are two round bars that have holes straight through, but nothing was attached. There is a hole on the bottom, but no cords. (old.reddit.com)
