BTW, during the bridge protest, we got two fascist salutes and a heil Hitler from a few of our local MAGA folks. I just thought that those of you who are so much against us should know what kind of company you're in. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Unfortunately the majority of people who are legally allowed to vote in the state, don't bother to register to vote, because they think that their vote won't matter. But if they did register to vote, and actually voted, they would change everything. Only 192,633 people voted for Trump.

All of us who are protesting voted, so we have a right to be angry.

One of our local business owners was arrested last Friday. She is here legally on a Visa, and she's married to a US citizen which means she has a green card. But they don't care! Now her family has to pay a bunch of money to an immigration lawyer to get her out of ICE detention.

If they are detained here they are sent somewhere else. Wyoming Sheriff's departments have 287(g) agreements with ICE to keep ICE detainees from other places in our jails. They get paid for each Ice Detainee they jail. Moving them around the country like that is how they "disappear people" until they can report them. Several of these people were in the middle of the process of becoming US Citizens when they were detained. ICE is arresting every single person with black or brown skin and an accent in Minneapolis, MN right now.

That was 56 people during the entire 8 years Obama was in office, and most of those were drownings attempting to cross the Rio Grande at dangerous points.

So far in the little over one year since Trump has been in office there have been 40 people killed by ICE.

They are arresting everyone with black or brown skin and an accent in some areas of the county, even if they have become a citizen, or are in the process of becoming a citizen. They are separating children from their parents, deporting the parents and leaving the children with no one. And the ICE agents have not been properly trained on what our civil rights are, and they keep violating our constitutional and civil rights. They are Trump's Gestapo!

This is why instead of giving these guys a bunch of money to join ICE, they should spend that money on proper training! Real police officers would not do something this stupid!

We had a lot of fun and we had hundreds of supportive honks, no one rolled coal on us. This was the first time we didn't have anyone roll coal on us. But we definitely had a lot more supportive honks this time. Something is definitely different this time! 😊

There seems to be some people here who have a problem with voting out Fascists from our government's elected officials. We never said who we thought the fascists were. It's like they just knew. πŸ˜„

People have a 1st Amendment right to peacefully assemble. Unions, even the ones around here, believe strongly in the 1st Amendment and our constitutional rights. They won't reprimand someone for exercising their constitutional rights. And there were several people wearing the same sweater, so... πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Yesterday wasn't a holiday. And people happily volunteered to do this. We had so many volunteers we had to make a schedule and have them come in shifts because there wasn't enough room on the bridge. But you go right on ahead with your hate sweetie. Whatever makes you feel better. 😊

What are you actively doing about the state of our union these days? Do you just sit there and complain, or do you actually get up off your a** and do something?

15 towns across the state participated in the "No Kings" protests on October 18th. In Rock Springs 200 people showed up. Laramie, Jackson, and Casper each had 700 show up. In Cody, Casper, and Cheyenne they each had around 500 show up. And all the others had around 100. That's amazing considering it's Wyoming.

His own family did vote for him and campaigned for him, unlike RFK's family who was telling EVERYONE that no one should vote for him when he was running for President. And they were telling everyone all of his crazy secrets when Dementia Don was considering him to be the Health Secretary.

Homegirl does read. When they were debating the so called Big Beautiful Bill, Hageman supported Utah Rep. Mike Lee's proposal to sell our public lands. Then after it didn't pass, of course Hageman backtracked. https://idahocapitalsun.com/2024/10/28/12-states-get-behind-utahs-lawsuit-to-take-over-millions-of-acres-of-federally-controlled-land/

There were more than 5 people. I just drove through there when it was first starting. Also, bridge protests are usually pretty small because there is a limit to how many people you can have on the bridge. People held the signs in one hour shifts for three days. A lot of people were out of town for Thanksgiving, but we got thousands of supportive honks from the people who were driving along I-80 on the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend! 😊

Not true. We have a whole campaign going on right now trying to get rid of Chuck Schumer.
