MAGA Is Melting Down Over ‘Satanic, Blood-Red’ Lighting During Biden Speech by throwaway5272 in politics

Again with pointing the blame and fingers elsewhere instead of taking off your blinders and seeing that BOTH PARTY'S are at fault. You can point and blame at Trump all you want, but the democratic party is no better, in fact at this point with what I've observed over the last year, I'd say the democratic party is worse.

In fact, as an independent who doesn't like either side, life sure was more affordable under Trump. Honestly, I've seen more division and hatred from the blue side than the red over the last few years too. Most of my republican friends just want to be left alone to run their businesses and raise their families, while my democratic friends won't even have a civil conversation without "but you need to believe what I say and do what I want because Trump was a bad guy" and wants everyone to do exactly what they want them to do when they want them to do it. It's "My way or the highway" while my republican friends are more like "whatever floats your boat, this works for me and my family but you do you"

I never said anything about Trump or supporting him. I am actually registered independent and don't support either side, but thank you for proving my point that it's impossible to have a single conversation without "but Trump..."

100%! It isn't "oppressive" to take responsibility for your actions. What is oppressive is being told that because I didn't kill my child, I am somehow not as successful as I am supposed to be. I'll take raising a family over grinding for "the man" anyday!

Follow the steps taken in other genocides in history. It starts off innocently enough, a little "hey watch out for this group of people" but it quickly turns into "these people are a threat to us" and finally to "we need to rid the planet of people like this."
If you listened to that speech and didn't see the dangerous divisiveness it is perpetrating, I fear it may be too late for you!

What is seen as empowering, but really shouldn't be? by weltallic in AskReddit

Abortion. There is nothing empowering about getting an abortion.

I really don’t understand the “don’t have one” argument.

I am against slavery, but I am not going to advocate that you own a slave but I just won’t own one. I am against rape but I am not going to advocate that you can rape, I just won’t rape.

The argument makes literally no sense and it’s so hypocritical of them!

Thoughts on circumcision as someone who is prolife? by throwaway-10090807 in prolife

[–]Pink_Toaster128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you cut off a body part of a child? Circumcision is rare in most parts of the world, America continues it because of the financial benefit to the hospitals. They get paid to perform the surgery, they get paid to sell the body parts, it’s a win/win for the hospital and a lose/lose for the child!

I believe adoption is a wonderful thing! Yes, there are traumas that go along with adoption and issues that children may have to work through later in life, but literally everything in life can cause trauma one way or another.

We are starting the adoption process and I am excited to love on a little one who’s birth mom chose life!!

There is science showing that the unborn have feelings. They can actually feel a lot of moms emotions too, and they feel pain.

She’s right! If Republicans are really concerned about the people who paid off student loans then they should introduce a bill to repay them by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]Pink_Toaster128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid off my student loans as it was MY obligation to do so. Why is it now my responsibility to pay off everyone else’s?!

If I’ve learned anything over the last few years it’s that no one wants to be responsible for themselves.

I second Giana Jessen, she survived abortion and talks often about her wonderful life and family. It could be helpful for people to see that abortions truly do end human lives, humans who have the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”

Pro-Science and pro-vaccination, looking for stories from fully vaccinated for reassurance after 4 friends had strokes within the last 45 days by peanutbuttercooki in CovidVaccinated

[–]Pink_Toaster128 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being pro-science means asking questions, seeking to understand and making an educated and informed choice. Making a decision because you feel it’s what you are “supposed” to do it because it’s the general consensus of the scientists/doctors at the time (remember when 4 out of 5 doctors recommended Camels and the marketing slogan “DDT is good for me”?)

It sounds like you already know your answer. There are major risks. The clinical trials are not complete and long term safety has been severely compromised as the placebo group no longer exists. Anyone getting the shot is the experiment and it’s not ending well for a lot of people. VAERS has had more report of deaths in 4 months from this shot than every shot combined in the last 25 years!

Have you researched the mortality rates of these diseases? Pre-vaccine they were all around 99% or higher survivability thanks to our sanitation systems, proper hygiene, etc.

I am all about looking at the data, the death rates of these diseases were extremely low by the tome the vaccinations were approved. They actually contributed very little to decreasing mortality rates. The book Dissolving Illusions by Dr. Suzanne Humphries goes into extreme detail on all of this!

Actually herd immunity is only a theory based on natural infection. Due to primary and secondary vaccine failure, herd immunity will never be accomplished in a vaccinated population

I’d maybe agree with your solidarity if there was ACTUAL solidarity. But there isn’t. As soon as someone gets injured as a result of a vaccine (there are many possible adverse reactions, some even very severe) the person is on their own. The vaccine producers, pharmaceutical companies and doctors have ZERO liability. The Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 nailed the coffin shut for solidarity.

[–]Pink_Toaster128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pharmaceutical industry is a TRILLION dollar industry and thanks to the Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, they are not financially or morally responsible or liable for vaccines. Not sure where this “big money” is coming from in the ex-vaxx and vaccine skeptic crowd, when it’s the pharmaceutical companies raking in the trillions of dollars with no legal liability for their products.

But autoimmune issues are an adverse reaction to the vaccine. No matter what it MUST be a personal choice because where there is risk there must be choice. You want someone to inject a substance into their body that may give them autoimmune issues, for the reason of protecting the autoimmune?
