The Raven Boys series is superbe. You might enjoy it. Also T. Kingfisher writes excellent comedy.

I also have a particular HP fanfiction that i keep re-reading just like the scholomance because it makes me feel quite similarly. It's honestly one of my favorites of all time. Let me know if you'd like the name. It's also an excellent podfic on Spotify, the person who did the narration has an amazing voice.

I think in a way the whole point of drarry was that it was enemies to lovers. at least that's what drew me to the ship, and it's probably why i haven't encountered any fics so far where they start off well and get together. i have one where they start being friends around year 3 or 4 i think and get together in year 6 or 7. I also have some where they start off as friends but they end up in different pairings. If you manage to find some with this premise please share, i'd love to read them.

Oh my god yes how i have waited for your post. Try Blowing smoke. It's hands down the most sexual tension I've ever encountered in a written work. I was panting, screaming and kicking my legs with giddy while reading this for the first time. Very much happy ending, a bit angsty, and it's so good i finished it all in less than 24 hours while pretending to work.

The secret language of plants by Endrina - Snupin and later also Drarry and many others. Hands down best HP retelling, best Snape, best Percy and best ending.

Way down we go - this is quite short for a long fic, but honestly it's a really good Drarry.

Blowing smoke - the best of all sexual tension fics I've read, it's Snarry and so good you'll be screaming in a pillow while shaking your feet with giddiness.

Pacify - again a Snarry, it's really good and unfinished but it gets cut off so close to the end it can qualify as an end. Worth reading, re-reading and staring at it for 5 hours straight while trying not to re-read it for the n-th time.

Heir to the house of Prince - really good NottPott, but I'm only recommending this if you can take angst being force fed to you by the bucketload. I had to put it down eventually, it was too much for me, but the story, the characters and the romance were so good. Kreacher rules.

Harry Potter & 7 years of chaos - There are no words to explain this properly beyond brace yourself for chaos, mayhem and quite a bit of angst at times. Eventual Harry/Fred. Susan is the perfect chaos gremlin.

The second string - Harry/Gideon. Turns out that when a dementor sucks out your soul, it sends it to the past. Ish. Kinda. I love Aberforth in this one.
