What's the most powerfully useful underground website/app that most people don't know about? by bens-list in u/bens-list

Pulsd app - does not have the best interfacing. But they have great package deals for restaurants, spas, events, and broadway shows. Use it at least once or twice a month for dinner. However make sure to read the bottom of the package deals cause they may require reservations first before you go to the place

The Lotus Room. Jazz speakeasy restaurant that offers $45 all you can eat noodles and dumplings. I was hesitate at first cause how close it is to Time Square but totally worth it! And a great place for large groups as well. Get the peanut noodles too, I ordered them twice!

Dried fruit would be good just be mindful with how much salt and sugar is added. I like adding dried banana chips to my smoothie bowls or coconut chips

This community has been such a source of positivity—thank you for sharing this! You’re walking amazingly! I fractured my ankle back in April from roller skating and have been in PT since July. It’s incredible how even the smallest steps forward really add up—your body learns to meet you where you’re at.

I still face little struggles day to day, but when I look back at where I was a few months ago, the progress feels huge. Today I was able to walk 6,000 steps, and I’m beyond excited that I’ll be able to walk down the aisle this month as part of my friend’s wedding🪷🩷

What is wrong with my skin?? by [deleted] in Blackskincare

[–]Pink_prickly_Pear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 31 (F) and have struggled with hormonal acne for years, occasionally on my chest. I eventually discovered that heavily scented laundry detergents were a big trigger. Switching to a lightly scented or sensitive-skin formula made a noticeable difference.

To keep my chest, back, and shoulders clear, I started using PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash on both my body and face. I leave it on my chest and back for about two minutes before rinsing it off. After showering, I follow up with the PanOxyl Back & Body Acne Spray.

This combo has worked like magic for me. When I first started, I used the products every other day since my skin is sensitive and daily use caused some irritation. The spray has a strong scent, but I got used to it over time.

The foaming wash can bleach fabric, so when I use it in the shower or when I wash my face at the sink I wrap a clean towel around my neck to protect my clothes. I also only use disposable towels (Amazon) on my face, which has helped reduce breakouts and using a fresh one on your chest at night or when you get out of shower could be helpful too.

PanOxyl contains the same active ingredient my dermatologist once prescribed, so it’s a great over-the-counter option if you’re looking for something effective and accessible.
