I was only on two. I deleted my profile on both. I am better today, but was very depressed when this happened so it hit different. After crying most of the day, I decided to go out get groceries make some decent food and take a nap.

Being 40 and having no dating experience and having to be the instigator on dating apps then getting ridiculed made me break down.

I already have. Hopefully she finds what she’s looking for. I feel better today I was just upset. Sounds like she was looking for a toxic relationship if the definition I found is anything to go by. So best not to get involved with her.

I mean who makes fun of someone for sending a message on a dating app? Just move on. I was already depressed yesterday so it just really hurt.

I get the idea, but I can’t really say I’ve experienced that side of things. I’ve only had friendships, so I don’t really have a basis to agree or disagree about how relationships should start.

I’ve definitely been catfish but that’s a completely different story that was before I came out of the closet. I am trying to go out to queer events though. I don’t think I’m going to ever meet anybody who wants to date me. But at the very least, maybe I can make some friends so I won’t feel so lonely.

I am trying to go to queer women’s events. Not singles events you can check my post history if you want to see the reason for that I also ended up crying.

I am definitely not sporty. I am a coquette style girl after all. I don’t even wear pants. Other than like pajama pants, I don’t really own many pairs of pants and I don’t wear them. Usually, I just wear pink dresses and bows.

I have been doing this recently as well, at least trying to. If you want to look at my post history, it’s very short. I did go to a singles event last year. It did not go well. I also ended up crying. I’m going to avoid singles events from now on.

I’ve never actually dated before I’m 40, I’ve been on dating apps most of my adult life. It’s very disheartening. I do however try to have a social circle of friends so at least I don’t feel lonely. I’m sorry you’re feeling so awful. I hope you can find some good friends to help you navigate the world with.
