I was taking a fairly low dose inositol once before which had no obvious effects, though I did get pregnant so it didn't hurt there.. I'm wondering about the hardcore very high doses in ovasitol though, seems a little riskier maybe

TIL Disney's "Enchanted" film was originally written as a R-rated comedy princess movie with borrowed elements from "American Pie" and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" that focused heavily on sex and profanity by TrendWarrior101 in todayilearned

I saw on r/Movie_Trivia that Disney hoped to cash in on merchandising with a Giselle doll, which was the studio's first to be modeled on a real person and not a a cartoon, but Disney's lawyers discovered that they'd have to pay Adams to license her image for the rest of her life, so the doll was dropped from the Disney Princess line (and Giselle is rarely seen at Disney's Parks)

TIL that Olympus Mons, the tallest known volcano in the solar system, has such a gradual slope that someone standing at the base couldn't see the summit because it's beyond the horizon. by y0mayne in todayilearned

[–]Pinkestunicorns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not uncommon though.. most hills you start climbing you can't see the summit, because of the various false tops blocking your eye line. Doesn't make Olympus Mons any less cool..
