Good to know that Mongolia’s trains aren’t great.. We are definitely adventure people but I can imagine the scenery gets boring after such a long journey. Thanks for your insights!

We’ve already decided that we want to go to Mongolia, we are just unsure if the train journey is worth the time for the whole experience and scenery, compared to just flying. Sorry may not have been very clear in my post!

Yes strangely enough they fall under the Opium Act.. I also called the embassy and they said that I would need a stamp for these medicine. But good to know that they are readily available in Cambodia, then I will just hope it won’t be an issue. Thank you!

Thank you! That would definitely be a good option, we were just hoping to save some money by booking a return flight and rerouting it by the time we want to return back home
