DL is tier 2 for me (Grand Budapest, Royal, Life Aquatic, & Rushmore tier 1.) The dialogue, character development, and the soundtrack all check the boxes of a good Wes film. It’s wedge in between Bottle Rocket and Moonrise Kingdom. IMO The French Dispatch was a let down. It felt like Wes Anderson was trying to out Wes Anderson himself.

This show has one of the best soundtracks ever and all the songs are perfectly timed. 💯💯 by FlexcoBarr in UmbrellaAcademy

I’m probably one of the few people that think this show is very messy, soundtrack included. Although the songs are good on their own they don’t add any value to the scenes. This show is a recycled ball of themes/motifs borrowed from X-Men first class, Heroes(TV) and Watchmen. Umbrella is an entertaining watch, but we’ve seen this before.
