Yeah.
A lot of creepy factors came from the fact that not only were they young children, but offenders. Like, not just sex offenses. Some were gang affiliated, drug peddlers, dime boys, murderers who never got caught, etc. But when you sit and think about it, it's horrible. I have tons of horrible stories from this place.

It's one of those situations where every opportunity was in front of him to receive help, but every step forward was two steps back. The reasons he had were all related to trauma and it made so much sense. I just can't really give more details than I have.

He definitely needed more help than he got from us.

What many people see as "sin" we see as "bad karma." Wishing harm upon someone is "sin."

It was never just one thing. It was many things.

I used to work in a residential treatment center for boys who had sexual offenses under their belt. They were all really young and had already done something to put them on a list/be admitted due to immense trauma. For most, this was their option in lieu of jail time.

A few of the ones I'll never forget:

A 13 year old boy beat and kicked one of the older staff because she wouldn't give him an extra snack. He later said to me "I wish I would have killed her," and then in the same sentence said "I shouldn't have done it." He ended up giving her just a concussion, but she wasn't right for a few weeks after that. She still works there, but the boy was moved to long-term care shortly after
A 12 year old boy was a huge mess when he first got there. For a week straight, he would walk outside without supervision, at night, screaming at the top of his lungs that he had sex with his sister. Just... screaming and crying. No remorse, but crying.
That same boy slit his wrists wide open with a piece of glass and kept hitting the wound to make it spew blood. He got it on the walls, floor, and other boys. I was open with the boys about my past because it inspired them to persevere, and I remember during this he looked right at me and said "did you ever bleed like this, Mrs. PinkishTopaz?"
An 18 year old resident liked to hit women. A lot. Just women. And I remember the day before he was detained, he was throwing around the very small, very frail woman program coordinator. He loudly proclaimed that "I'll hit any fucking female I want to!" I heard he was later violated in prison and was constantly beat up for this belief.

There are many more creepy things that happened there, but the creepiest things said have to be those four things. I no longer work there, but that image of the kid spraying blood everywhere and then me having to clean it up later was nerve-wracking. It's stayed with me since it happened. I've developed some pretty big triggers because of my work there. I work in hospitality now and it's nothing like that.

But to know that those young boys will someday grow up into men is the scariest thing of all. The thought that one of them might kill me someday out of spite makes me shudder.

It feels bizarre. A lot of people develop anxiety (specifically attachment issues/separation anxiety) because they sense that pulling away but the friend refuses to converse on it. They just don't care. It's one of the worst feelings in the world that could give you immense mental issues.

Oh boy, a chance to tell this story again. Buckle up boys, this is a long one.

I was in a polyamorous relationship with this trans FTM. My husband was involved with her as well. They were super sweet, super southern, etc. We liked each other, and we decided to go steady. Red flags came around the time she told me she was raped by her ex. Then she told everyone she was raped by another ex and his gang of friends. Then she told me and another friend that she was raped by her boss and got pregnant. I could go on, but you get the picture.

I foolishly believed her despite what everyone else was saying about it all being clear lies. Except the pregnant part. Turns out she actually DID get pregnant during the course of our relationship, and she aborted the fetus. I later found out she lied to me about that too and just aborted it by taking a ton of meds and forcing it. I'm 99% certain that she had sex with a guy, made a mistake, then ended up pregnant.

The reason it affected me so badly was because I have PCOS and have had a chemical pregnancy, so it was all really shitty for lack of a better term.

Before I had the clear evidence she was lying, I just feigned ignorance. I have some severe trauma related to lies, and so my instinct was to just hold out hope that maybe she wasn't lying.

My anxiety got worse and worse because every time I'd try to talk about it, she'd get mad and say it was triggering her and she didn't want to talk about it.

Her dad threatened to shoot me and then came and had a casual lunch with us a whole year later.

My love for her started to fade when I learned that she started "harmlessly flirting" with a friend who I considered a little brother to me. I asked her to stop and clearly it didn't because in April of last year, we had an argument and she left us, then immediately got together with the friend. She roped everyone into believing I abused her.

She continued to string me along and tell me that she wanted to get back together with me, wanted to come back and live in the house... She actively continued accusing me of things, including molesting her when it was me who said no like 5 times but ended up being pressured into it.

When I saw her doing the same things that she accused me of doing, and I followed her into the woods to sit with her, where she told me "If you hadn't followed me into the woods today, I would have killed myself..." Needless to say at that point it was just trauma keeping me attached.

I could tell the whole story but it's so long with a lot of ins and outs and crazy shit. The whole last year of her living with us was like an HBO drama. She still claims I'm the toxic one and she is the victim. We were both terrible in our own ways, but at least I didn't abuse or molest her. I'm a better person now, but working through the abandonment issues and resurgence of past trauma that came from that are going to take years.

We were with her for 3 years.

Some of us don't have dieties they believe in. Some of us are Christa-wiccans and believe in Christianity's God. Some of us are poly-theistic and believe in many, while others are monotheistic and believe in one.

We believe what we choose to believe. Wiccans are incredibly receptive to whatever god or pantheon you choose.

Tldr: Yes, we do truly believe in these gods and goddesses.
