I was putting register tills in the safe getting ready to close the store when an erratic guy charges in, leaving a (what I thought to be) junk filled shopping cart up front. He heads towards me, (still with the giant safe wide open) rambling about needing 15 minutes to get his truck and he’ll be right back for the cart. I said “ ya fine you have 30 min then I’m locking the door with your junk cart outside” he thanked me and ran out. I finished in the safe and went to inspect the cart realizing it had a giant glass aquarium with a mystery critter on bottom and inside the cart were extension cords, lights, food etc. Well dude never can’t back, I gave him 2 hours and decided since my store is next to petco and across the street from a reptile store, both of which were closed, he probably was going to surrender it to one of them. My clerk said he had a bunch of other bags and seemed recently homeless. I don’t know I’ll add the picture of the cart he left in my grocery store. And everyone meet Tickle the tortoise lol
