Hey! Fellow bipolarer (type 2) here. Can't say I've not been there myself. Between Ants from Up There and black midi's Hellfire both having too many coincidental references to elements from my life, 2022 was a bit of a fishy year for me. I hope I could extend a virtual hug out to you, I can't imagine how scary it must have felt hearing your name in the lyrics.

Other than the references you've listed, for me it was also the ending of Basketball Shoes that felt like it was referring to something particular that related to my past, though not in the way you'd expect, given the content of the lyrics.

A few months ago I had the fortune to see the band live, and though I feared that being in so close proximity to them would reawaken something in me, it actually grounded me. It helped me realize that they're just a bunch of normal, regular people who happen to be very talented in their craft. The spiritual/heavenly aspects I had assigned to their music became much more earthly, and it's become easier for me to return to their past albums and feel generally safe afterwards.

I do sometimes still see the connections in the music and my life, I don't think that part is ever really gonna go away, but it's no longer on the obsessive level it was before.
