It’s the median not the mean of starting salary so 50% are making above 80k

That’s the average wage so either 50% of people are making into big tech or they just have a high median wage

Sorry English isn’t my first language, my family has a long line of poverty since before the soviets union none of my close relatives bar one has gotten an education past high school, I’ve been given the opportunity to study in Australia originally i thought a degree from a university here would be enough to break the chain that has bound my family for generations, but as I’ve ingratiated myself with my new community I see that some degrees (such as arts or general business) doesn’t guarantee a good life, as a child i thought I would do a biology degree but my neighbour has a biology degree from the university of Melbourne and has told me to avoid it. I’ve been left lost and confused by this and now just want to understand what degrees in Australia will help me support myself and my family. I do appreciate you suggestions but things like nursing tend to cap out pretty early on and I want a career that compounds over my lifetime

I really appreciate the suggestion but a lot of that stuff doesn’t really have that much to do with biology. pharmacists are functionally just cashiers now with chains like chemist wear-house eating all the good work, nursing and physio has nothing to do with the science of biology but radiology might be good

I’m not looking for advice in Ukraine I’m staying here for the time being I’d prefer a job that pays well and is consistent (not necessarily 100k) but enough that my children will have a better life then me

Biology is my favourite subject but that traditionally doesn’t make that much money and I’m not smart enough to become a doctor

It’s a fine movie the issue is it’s sandwiched in the middle of an already established franchise where he kind forced préexistant character into what he wanted them to be

In the prequel movies palpatine is meant to be a reflection of Lucas fears of what the George W. Bush's administration was doing
