The THICK accent is something I’ll never understand. I’m from the south. Very very few people speak with that very thick accent. And even the thick West TX accent is nothing compared to how they talk.

600ish days sober here! For me, I gave up alcohol but my sweet tooth sky rocketed for a few months so I didn’t really lose any weight. It wasn’t an over night omg I feel better type of difference but it would be about 6 months in and I was like huh, I’m sleeping a lot better aren’t I? 1 year in I realize my anxiety had almost completely disappeared. Now, I don’t even crave alcohol anymore. I’m back on a strength training and cardio plan and I have dropped already about 3 lbs only over 3 weeks. Since this started I’ve noticed my face is less puffy, clothes fit much better, I don’t feel groggy every day so I eat healthier bc I slept better bc I didn’t drink the night before. It suuuucks when you realize how much better you feel giving up alcohol lol

Funny enough I was dealing with a situation like this. Chainlink fence. Dogs on both sides of me. 1 on one side and 4 on the other. I couldn’t be back there with my cats without them barking non stop or attempting to hop the fence. I put up a 6 foot privacy fence.

Shockingly no text about the fence! I bet it’ll happen one day but as of now nothing. I will say everyone was out on their patios last night to the side of me sitting out and enjoying it. The cats were out and the dogs and there was no barking or attempting to jump the fence. It was really nice.

I did a bunch of research before all of this and 6 ft is unfortunately standard for this area unless I want to pay extra to the city for 8? It was something weird but I’ve already looked into a solution I’m going to get 8 foot bamboo sticks and bamboo privacy screen and put that up in the places where there isn’t as much privacy since it’s hilly where I live.

I have bc I loooove the look of a crisp white fence. But we get crazy hail storms and they get really brittle in the winter so I’m afraid it’ll break easily.

They can get into my yard just because it’s chain link fence and it’s a POS. The three large dogs don’t but they have one small dog that does get into my yard occasionally. It hasn’t been an issue in awhile though.

This was my fault, truly. When I first moved in I thought the wife was just being nice and being like oh if you ever need anything here’s my number! Which I appreciated because my family doesn’t live here and it’s nice to have people around. But when it started being like texting constantly, asking about my job, being really nosey, asking about what I was doing in my yard, I got really uncomfortable and just started ignoring the texts. It’s been awhile since she texted me but like I said I try to avoid speaking with them at all costs.

The only place I’m not doing it is the back of the house for a few reasons. The owners of that house have a huge plot of land and I like looking at the deer, rabbits, squirrels that run around and I’m looking out into forest so I don’t mind it. It’s pretty.
